This 8-week group is designed help address the nutritional and behavioral root causes of emotional eating and binging in a safe and supportive environment so you can have a more peaceful relationship with food this holiday season (and beyond!). Our experienced dietitians will help guide you to a place where you are able to honor your body and taste buds without guilt through intuitive and mindful eating guidance, nutrition education, holiday-focused strategies, interactive activities, group discussions and so much more. If you are tired of yo-yo dieting, feeling out of control with eating, opting out of holiday celebrations due to a fear of overeating, or feeling shame and like a failure because you couldn’t stick to your nutrition plan through the holidays, this group is the right place for you! Virtual and In-person (El Dorado Hills) groups available.
First steps: Our goal is to create a supportive group environment for those struggling with binge eating, eating disorder and/or chronic dieting. Because disordered eating requires varied levels of treatment, one of our dietitians will conduct an individual assessment with you prior to group admission to see if this group is appropriate for you!
